Presenter: Kim Schaap, MD

Get back to living your life!  We invite you to join Dr. Kim Schaap to learn more about same day joint replacement using robotic-arm assisted technology.  Patient-specific robotic-arm procedures start by generating a 3D virtual model of your anatomy.  This virtual model is used to create your patient-specific pre-operative plan, targeting the part of your knee damaged by osteoarthritis and sparing healthy bone and ligaments.

Dr. Schaap received her medical degree from the University of Minnesota Medical School. Becky and Brian Wagoner are local leaders with Evolv Health. They both have a passion for helping other people and have been with the company for more than a year an a half. Becky has spent a lifetime caring for people. As a child, her mother rescued young adults from desperate situations and she grew up in this rehab house, living with over 300 people through those years. In her twenties, Becky was a foster mother, caring for several children over a five year span. Becky has also provided in home care to seniors struggling with a variety of health concerns.

Brian has experience in healthcare including volunteer work as a care specialist at the Hudson Hospital, intern training in Radiologic Technology at North Memorial Hospital and is a Certified Nurse Assistant.

Steven Nichols is the General Manager of Lee Engineering and is responsible for sourcing organic grains offered through Royal Lee Organics. In his role, Steve works directly with local farmers in the processing and packaging of organic grains for home milling.
