Blaine HOME EXPO Getting "greener"
MINNEAPOLIS, MINN.—A lot of home shows
tout “green living,” and offer ideas for sustainable
living. The Home Improvement and Design Expo takes “green”
a bit further and actually shows homeowners how to live green.
Scheduled for April 19-20, 2008 at the
National Sports Center, Blaine, “The Home Improvement and
Design Expo is for people who are serious about making improvements
to their homes,” says “Magic Brad” Gudim, one-half
of the event marketing duo known as "The Expo Guys."
“We’ve found, through past shows, that they’re
also serious about making improvements without damaging their
families’ health. That’s where the ‘green’
issues really hit home.”
The Expo will feature free speaker presentations,
demonstrations and live entertainment as well as provide opportunities
for homeowners to consult with architects, builders, remodelers,
landscapers and leaders in the green building movement. Each day,
the first 50 people who visit the exhibit will receive a door
buster goodie bag. Door prizes will be awarded throughout the
day.
Admission to the event is $6 at the door.
Hours are 10:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m. April 19, and 10:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.
April 20. The National Sports center is located at 1700 105th
Ave., Blaine.
